My name is Benjamin Barendrecht a landscape photographer based in the Glen Coe area in the Scottish Highlands. Im originally from the Netherlands, a place I left a long time ago to start traveling. I always dreamed of the mountains when i was young with the desire to climb them and explore regions I have never seen before.

I’m a hiker and lover of the mountains. Capturing unique moments of the natural landscape, the desire to seek out incredible landscapes and explore the depths of the mountains is what i’m passionate about. Bringing moments of time back in a photograph of this beautiful world. Feeling lost in the mountains and engaged with researching and scouting out new locations, the experiences and challenges of hiking and backpacking in remote areas are rewarding. Photographing amazing light and the scene I envisioned or a spontaneous scene I didn't expect. Telling and creating stories is my way of sharing emotions. The mountains hold many stories, valuable memories for each individual. Stories that last a lifetime and beyond.
