Scotland is known for some of the most amazing mountains in the world with a wide variation, every mountain has its own character and history and offer some of the most photogenic scenery.
Join me on a journey which will take you to some of the most unforgettable places, photographing the beauty of Scotland and the Highlands.
I offer tuitions in various regions of Scotland including: Glencoe, Lochaber, Assynt, Torridon, Isle of Arran.

What to expect
Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or looking your very first trip with the camera, I’m here to help create, host, and guide you through your adventure capturing striking visuals.
My photography workshops are tailored to all levels, from beginners to pros. They are suitable for all skill and fitness levels, whether you prefer exploring high mountain locations or staying at lower, more accessible areas such as lochsides and valleys, these options accommodate everyone’s preferences and abilities.
I will guide you through the visual story of photography, connecting the wild emotions within a single frame.
Learning Content
Prior to your workshop we will have a discussion about the location and weather, We will discuss your desired learning outcomes for the day, for example any specific techniques you would like to learn. During the day itself we will hike with a qualified mountain leader and explore and photograph the mountains.

Prices vary depending upon the duration of the workshop. I offer half-day or full day workshops in order to accommodate the optimal daylight hours for taking photographs in the different seasons.
Itinerary shall be agreed well in advance of the workshop, this can change during the time leading up to the workshop and on the day depending on the weather.
Half day - £150 (4 hours)
Full day - £300 (8 hours)
When making your enquiry and booking, I suggest that you consider your preferred time of the year and day that you would like to be out taking photographs (sunrise/sunset)
Back-to-back bookings can be done if you wish to spend more time with me in the fiel (for example, two Full Day workshops)

Insurance (health, accident, and equipment damage)
Accommodation (recommendations can be given on request)
Food and refreshments (recommendations can be given what supplements to take in the mountains)
Suitable clothing, walking shoes and tripods are your own responsibility (Information sheet can be send on request to get you prepared for the Scottish mountain weather in advance)
